Then you should attend the Skills Builders Show Clinics.  Learn why you placed and the Judges reasons why.

Get comments back directly from the judge.  The judge provides feedback, commentary and explanations to riders, coaches and spectators throughout the day. Think of it as Judging demystified. 

 

Thistle Ridge Skill Builders Ribbons

 

Show clinics start at 9:30 am.  Please note that there will be limited entries. OEF memberships and coggins recommended.

ThistleRidgeStables.com will be hosting Skills Builders Show Clinics.   All Show Clinics will provide a safe, organized venue to promote equestrian skill and development.    Show clinic dates are:

BEGINNER DIVISION   

No Cross Entry – All entries receive a ribbon

  1. Walk /Trot Equitation            
  2. Walk/Trot Equitation Over poles
  3. Walk/Trot Pleasure

 

NOVICE DIVISION For novice riders and/or horses

  1. Equitation Over Cross Rails
  2. Hunter Over Fences (max. 2’)
  3. Equitation – Walk/Trot/Canter

 

FLAT DIVISION                                                      

  1. Road Hack
  2. Pleasure Horse or Pony           
  3. Equitation  – Walk/Trot/Canter

 


2’3” HUNTER DIVISION

  1. Hunter Equitation Over Fences
  2. Hunter Over Fences
  3. Hunter Under Saddle

 


2’6” HUNTER DIVISION

  1. Hunter Equitation Over Fences
  2. Hunter Over Fences
  3. Hunter Under Saddle  

 

2’9” HUNTER DIVISION

19.       Hunter Classic – Riders to show over two rounds, in the height competed at during the day.  Scores for each round will be added together.  The horse/rider combination with the highest score will determine the placings.  1st place – 50% of total entry, 2nd place 25%, 3rd -15%, 4th – 10%.

 

21.       Open Card Judged Warm-Up (held all day) Open Card Judged Warm-up $10.00 per round Held All Day.  Ribbons will be awarded.

Entry Fees:

Beginner Division- $20.00 or $7.00 per class.

 Other Divisions – $30.00 or $12.00 per class

Hunter Classic $20.00 entry fee
